For example, you could talk about what is required to learn to play the guitar or any other musical instrument: To play a guitar you must practice at least twice a week, you may need to hire a tutor or enroll in lessons etc.. You could talk about other things like learning a language, obtaining a property, entering a certain school, traveling, making friends; you name it...
You need to record at least 3 minutes. Provide enough details.
Instructions:
1. Choose your topic and plan the language you would use
2. Access http://vocaroo.com/ and make the recording (make sure that your recording is audible, you won't get credit if nobody can listen to your recording)
3. Post your vocaroo link below and write a reaction to two of your classmates' posts. You may add more information and suggest other elements that are required to achieve what your classmate describes.
You have until Saturday midnight to make the post.
4. React to two of your classmates' posts before Sunday midnight!
Grading scheme> 3 points for recording, 2 points for reacting to two students' posts.
Hello everybody, this is my listening assignment: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1lRHvfxUJps
ReplyDeleteIt is about what is required to become a youtuber, I hope you like it.
Please comment and if you can think of some other important steps to become a youtuber please share them :)
Hi Mario
DeleteI found interesting your recording about this topic, especially because in this time there many people that uses to create a channel on youtube like a job. I think is a good way to earn money especially if the person talk about something important or useful, but also I think there are many people that creates this channel and in your videos they dont have idea that the things they say, I think some people is very stupids. .... On the other hand I like your fluency when you were taking. GOD JOB
I Liked #
DeleteHey Mario
DeleteI just heard your recording and I have to say I like it because what you say sounds authentic, I mean it's not like you just came and said plain tips, you actually gave good information and useful advice and even named some editing programs, that's good man!
I am wondering why did you choose this topic?
I agree with Daniela, your recording was easy to understand because of your fluency
keep the good Job pal!
see you next time
Hello my friend, hope you're good.
DeleteFirst of all, you sounded like a real youtuber out there hahah. I really liked the idea and the tone you used, because, as Andrés said, it's not like you just wanted to accomplish your taks in a simple style, but you wanted to show or (in this case: teach) something you may be interested on. Good job Mario, keep working like this bro. Btw, I felt you planned the way you would express yourself on the recording, I think that's very professional. See you around.
Hello Mario, I believe this thing, I mean to make videos and become a star on youtube has become really popular nowdays... It has become the livelihood of many.
DeleteI am with you, when you said that making videos on things that we are actually good at, would be much easier, and enjoyable, if we want to be succesful youtub.ers
Nice pronunciation, I understood the whole recording!
Good recording Mario,
Deleteone more thing that I would include is that a good youtuber designs clips that are the same length every time s/he makes a post. Usually no more than 10 minutes is a good length, beyond that, people won't stay.
Hello guys, here's recording http://vocaroo.com/i/s1uYIPrbsS8F
ReplyDeleteIt's about what is required for learning any language you want or even improve what you´re learning in language so i hope you enjoy it, PD: yo must take note :) Thank you
yes, it's not only about memorizing words, I mean, as you said, it is really important to put those words in context to actually get familiarized with them...I also think the music strategy is pretty cool, in that way you immerse yourself into the language and you learn having fun
DeleteHi Samuel
DeleteI believe that in our case as language students, it is necessary to apply this steps or suggestions because these can help us to improve. I agree with you when you says that it is necessary to memorize and practice all new words because we can forget them. I love to listen to music, well to practice any language with music should not be a problem.
Good job!
Hi Samuel,
DeleteThese are good tips. Thirty words a day seems to be challenging, though. But as you say, more than memoriong the words, you need to practice them in different contexts. Music is a great way for you to pick up new voca. A correction, you say "listen to music" not "listen to the music."
listen to the music
Hi everyone, this is my recording about What is required to do "Aerial Silks"(Which is a Circus Performance). I hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeletehttp://vocaroo.com/i/s1nEpIvn7xZv
P.S: I know I said "what is required to MAKE aerial silks..." which I think it goes "do" or "perform" but I realized at the end of the recording, after more than 10 times recording, so I decided to let it pass.
Hiii friend of mine, you chose a good topic to develop.
DeleteSome minutes ago, If someone had asked me what I know about "Aerial Silks"? probably I would have said that it is a beautiful dance perfomance in the air. Beyond that, I really didn't know anything else. Now, thanks to your recoding, I have a better idea about it.
In adittion, Something I think is quite relevant, is to leave all fears behind before perfoming this activity. You must be brave and have courage. Am I right?
See you son hun...
soon* :P
DeleteHi Fabian!!
DeleteYou're recording is really interesting! I found all of the physical activities really awesome, because they require a lot of effort from the people who do them. I agree with everything you said about the clothes and the practice, practice makes pefect after all. Something that I would recommend you is to talk a little bit slower, sometimes it all comes in a rush and it's really hard to understand you, but in general I think you did a really good job! See you in class!
For Alejandra: yooo my Aleja, I'm glad you liked my topic :3 it's nice that know you have a better idea of this beautiful art :)
DeleteAnd hell yeah you are damn right! fears off, brave and courage on! I couldn't have said it better :)) you are so clever sweetie (☞゚∀゚)☞
For Isabella: Hi hi Isabella! it's nice to find people who love physical activities and find pleasure in making efforts :) maybe you could share what you like to do...
yooo it's true about my speed, I know sometimes I sound like a bumblebee xD thanks for the advice, I really will take it into account (ง ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)ง
Hiiiii Fabian! I hope you had a good week end.I had the pleasure of seeing you do this art. you're outstanding!! I appreciate you tell us about your hobbie /job. I think it's difficult and you must do more efforts. I agree with that who angie said: you must be brave and have courage. Thank's for share with us your recording.. your topic it's very interesting...
DeleteFinally I agree also with the Isa suggestion's .. please talk a little bit slower not only in english but also in french ans spanish ahahhaha.. I love you :*
PS: I really appreciate your job.. and your passion for this physical activities.. here in Colombia we only see this art in the street when people need money but I see in you some different.. a passion.. a love for your job :)
Hello Fabian,
Deletethis is an interesting description. I notice you highlight a lot safety and you are right, up there you depend on your skills to hang on the silks. I agree with Angie, you do have to have courage to do aerial acrobatics. One correction> it is better to say> "do aerial silks" rather than "make aerial silks."

ReplyDeleteHi, here is my recordind abour the things you required to become a BJJ fighter. Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeletehttp://vocaroo.com/i/s0JtuyY1fEU2
Very touching, It could be a motivacional audio hahah, so basicly is all about persistence and patience, those are the main characteristics of winners no doubt about it...
DeleteSomehing that I like about jiu jitsu and sports in general is that every little detail is important,"the devil in the details", and every little movement should be made very carefully because you could win or loose the fight or the match with that movement.
Nice recording!! I really liked the subject because BJJ seems to be very important for you.
hi camiloo!! I hope you will be full then this week end! So .. I was very curious to know what is BJJ fighter.. I listen your recording and it's great your explanation .. and your suggestions to be a good BJJ fighter..
DeleteYou said: some good characteristics as patience, persistance and constancy to be a good bjj fighter.. and I agree with you when you said: every single day you learn a new thing... I think all things of life need time to be perfect and we never learn all.. it's for this that we need a good disposition to face the life.
we also need practice and be precise.. I think it's a good sport to people who like it.. personally I don't like it ... i never try.. but I don't want try ahahhah ... I respect your appreciation to this sport..
Ps: I heard , sometimes, a word like yizus.. what is this??
and.. I love your background... your dog.. your birds.. I'm sure you have this animals.. ahahhaha.. see you soon.. cami :)
What I most liked about your recording was the "guau guau" xD no just kidding men! What I really iiked about the topic was the last part when ypu tried to describe Jujitsu, and it has also happened to me that when there´s something SOOOOO AMAZING that you don´t know how to start saying how good it is you just can´t find the words, and I noticed it happened to you as well, that for me shows sincerity and passion about what you´re talking.
Delete:D
Juan Camilo,
DeleteIt is clear you need persistence and discipline to practice this type of martial art. You sounded a little repetitive, maybe making some notes before recording could help you next time. I did Taekwondo once and loved it. It is a shame you could not stay in the sport.
Hi everyone, this is my recording about what is needed to learn how to drive a motorcycle.
ReplyDeletehttp://vocaroo.com/i/s1a1V7p8nhFg
Hi Laura!! Wow you had a lot to say in your recording, do you ride a motocycle? I liked that you were really detailed about it, you talked a lot about the steps that people need to follow if they want to learn how to ride a motocycle, um sometimes I couldn't really understand what you were saying, but it seems like you're really informed about it. I personally don't like motocycles, I think they're really dangerous, so I prefer cars, but anyway, good job! See you in class!
DeleteHi Isabella, thanks for comment my post, about your question, no I don’t ride motorcycle but when I was 13 years old I was learning and I knew all things to do it but when I was practicing I fell because it was raining and the rim was slipped, though it was not so serious from this day I’m afraid to drive a motorcycle, moreover now the nerves attack me too much and this way it is impossible to support the balance in a motorcycle. So I agree with you when you say that the motorcycles are dangerous.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteI agree with your topic and I know the information because I do some steps, I can tell my story when I was 17 years old the first time, I learnt to drive motorcycle with my father, I felt so scared, I forgot the steps and I didn´t fall down, I remind in the second time I just enjoyed.
DeleteLaura, good you tried to be detailed, although it is hard to follow. I would have been content with you just givings a general idea such as you must wear a helmet, you must observe road signs or you should not leave you bike on the streets if you don't want it gone!! or so on.
DeleteHello guys this is my listening, (I´m ill so I´sorry for the voice)
ReplyDeletewhat is required to be a good friend?
http://vocaroo.com/i/s0OAOe5LSgUO
Hey Dannie... hope you're grate!
DeleteWhen I first read the tittle of your assingment, I was pretty corious about what you were going to say, because I consider that to be a good friend requires a huge amount of qualities. Personally, I think you did it well, you covered the basic aspects with which I agree. I hightlight what you said referring to respect, for me this is the most important detail in a friendship.
Just to add, a good friend must be a good adviser too. She/he should be the one who guides you to the right way, the one who shows you a different perspective, the one who open your eyes when you're blind.
So.. That's it. Good arguments by the way. See you next week my dear.
hello
Deletei totally agree with you when you say we have to love ourselves before love or giving love for others, because we can't offer what we don't have so you're right and the fact we have to respect our differences will do that the friendship gets strong if we recognize them, so to sum up you have goods elements for being good friends...... but i want to add that we have to communicate the things we like and things we don't so this will avoid a lots of problems :) that's the only thing i would add.
Hello guys
DeleteThank you for your opinions and for listen my recording.I liked that you added information about the topic I selected for my listening because I can learn from your perspectives others aspect that are required to be a good friend, which I consider interesting, besides his information I can appropiate in my life to be a good friend... Again thanks for your comments
besides with this information *
DeleteHi Dani! The title of your recording caught my attention so I heard it and I loved it! Personally I think that true friends are very difficult to find, for me there are levels of friendship. First level is people you know, 2nd level are just friends and the 3rd level is when a friend becomes family. There´s a phrase that I don´t know if there´s one in English but in Spanish says: "Los verdaderos amigos se cuentan con los dedos de una mano", well I only have 2 fingers occupying that 3rd level friends.
DeletePD. I loved the phrase you shared, thanks for that.
PD 2.If you don´t mind, next week, i´ll tell you some things about your recording that I cannot explain writing.
PD 3. xoxo <3 bye !
Hi Daniela,
Deletegreat idea to talk about friendship. I like the discussion and additions from Samuel, Angie and Ken. I loved your sentence at the end because some people want to have real friends but they wait until that friend shows up in their lives. It does not work like that in my experience, friendship is something you build. This is so true that sometimes you end up building a strong friendship with someone you initially disliked or even hated. Life is about building!
Hello Guys, this is my recording about how to play soccer!
ReplyDeleteI hope you like it!
http://vocaroo.com/i/s1eKtqkihfW0
Hello Meliza,
DeleteFirst I have to say that I don’t like play soccer and any sport haha, but I listened your steps for play although I don't like it I knew some things and I learnt more about this.
Hey Meliza.
DeleteI want to include some recommendations if you want to play soccer: the soccer is a game of contact, so you should knows that any time you can falls down or stike up. I say this because sometimes you want to learn to play soccer but at the first time that falls down you stop to do it because think that is a agressive game.
Also is important have fun and that you enjoy while you training.
The last recommendation is that you must practice everyday. You don't learn to play in a day, this process takes months or years.
As you know, I love soccer too. I was 6 years old when I started to practice. One old friend said me: You will learn if you practice harder and your passion will be your motor that takes you far.
God job meliza. I like your recording. it's usefull.
Strike yourself*
DeleteHello, Laura
DeleteThank you, I respect your opinion Laura is up to you, if you don't practice any sport, but you could try to practice to play soccer because, when you have stress or you feel tired for the academics homework, I have a solution, to play soccer You must forget in the field many things which happening in this moment.
Hello, Andrea
DeleteI feel excited when I read your point of view because some woman practice soccer, than you for your suggestions I did these because I Training soccer twice a week, I started 2 years ago and I feel like a beginner and I always try to be better.
Meliza, next time record with a louder voice please. Good you practice soccer. Especially in a chauvinist culture like the Colombian one. My daughter used to love playing soccer when we lived in USA. When we came back she tried to continue playing it but so much discrimination in her school discouraged her. They made her notice (including her coach) that soccer is a sport for boys. As you say training 30 minutes a day can help.
DeleteHello guys, here's my recording about the things you got to know in order to perform a breastroke style (swimming) correctly. Since I was not able to use vocaroo (because I dont have a mic) I uploaded my voice record at youtube and I'll post it right here. Hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteLink: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcZkAZg2Ldg
WAZAAAAAAAAAAAA! Hello Mr. Sir Don Juan! I decided to listen your audio because its been a while since I swim in a pool or in the sea, so I though "this will help me to not drown next time haha". I started listening and i tried to follow in my mind the instructions that you gave, somehow you started talking about technical movements that you athletes I suppose are familiarized to, so naturally I got lost and I actually was going to place myself in a lateral position on my bed to see if I could follow your directions, but at last i decided not to. So in my mind I drown haha, so dude! I better stay at ground and walk. :)
DeleteHi pumpkin! This is a very interesting explanation because of the details at first I thought you were talking about the butterfly style but the positions of your arms is different in that one.
DeleteGood job!
Juan, good job, although I would go for a visual explanation instead. My swimming skills are poor but I see great value in suggestions about how certain tiny movements we do when we swim can slow you down and make you use additional strength.
DeleteHello! Here's my recording on how to get to a mio station.
ReplyDeletehttp://vocaroo.com/i/s0b3o4B29skf
Hey Hector!!
Deletei like your information cause if you were a foreign person the first thing you would think is that this process is totally easy but when you hear the word "patience" you realize that this little word can make this easy process as a annoying.
the only thing i would add , it'd be that if you get lost in a station you can look for informatin asking the security guard.-
so, well done Hector :)
don't know if asking a security guard will work...haha...most of the time they have their heads nowhere...and of course, I even think there should be some patience integrated skills courses to get you prepared to use this transportation system...thanks for the comment and the good vibe!
DeleteHéctor, I am with Samuel on the fact this info is relevant for those who are new to town. It has happened to me that I buy two tickets at the counter and then after I slide it I lose the second ticket because they say I can only use one at a time. This is something to consider, to make sure that whenever we buy a ticket at the bus counter we can only buy one for a one-way trip. This very typical of the ways things work in Colombia, unpractical at all levels.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone, this is my recording about what is required to do a Kata, hope you guys like it!
ReplyDeletehttp://vocaroo.com/i/s1K8KzUP03zF
This is the link that I mention at the end of the audio.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgN7fUGPgMM
See you in class!
Hey Isabella, I've got to tell you that I HAD NO IDEA OF WHAT KATA WAS, when I read it at first I thought It was and abbreviation of karate, then I thought it had something to do with wrestling ( sorry for my ignorance) but when I watched the video I understood what you were talking about... to be honest I didn´t think i'd watch all the video because it lasts 7 minuteees... but it turned out to be very interesting although those women scream a LOT haha, anyway nice recording and subject!!!
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteHey, while listening to your recording, I remembered that I used to practice karate when I was a little child... only got to yellow belt, but I used to enjoy the Katas, much more than physical combat with another child, I think that's why I quit.
DeleteThey were the simplest katas, so I do not think it required a lot of effort but I remember we had to move smooth, and yes! we should imagine ourselves fighting with someone else.
Interesting subject and nice pronunciation here, really enjoyed the video too.
Isabella.
DeleteYour voice is so sweet and you give us a excellent explanation. Believe me you will be a good teacher. I hadn't idea what kata was. My sister practices karate too and to be honest I never thought that it was a serious and important thing. Thanks your explanation now I know the importance of all. I agree with you when you say that it is an important practice, for my it is the basic thing in any sport. It is there where you correct your mistakes and prepare yourself for the following thing. PD: Thanks for include a link it's useful.
God job girl.
Hey guys! Thank you all for commenting my post
DeleteFor Mario, it's fine! I found it very normal that people don't know what a kata is, most people only imagine kicks and punchs when they think about martial arts, but it's something very common, so no offense taken. They do scream a lot, haha I agree with you, the scream is actually something that I'm not comfortable doing, even though is really important. Anyway, thanks for the support! See you in class!
For Daniel, I think I'm part of the small group of people that are not forced to do combat with the other classmates, so I understand why you decided to quit karate. But katas are really fun, the improve a lot of things in your body, technique and even memory! Thanks for commenting my post! See you in class!
For Andrea, well thank you for the compliment on my voice! And yes, it is an important thing, when I first started I didn't know about the existence of katas either, but now I found them really awesome and fun! Thanks for commenting my post! See you in class!
Hi guys, the scream is really important in martial arts, it helps you channel your energy and control it. I did not know about Kata as a sport. I enjoyed the video and those ladies don't mess around. They are well prepared!!!
DeleteHi everyone,
ReplyDeleteThis is the link to my recording. It is about something that I really love: Planting♥
http://vocaroo.com/i/s0Ve3RXauKXc
Hi hi Lesli! cool you love planting, the plants are the ones which permit us to live!
DeleteYou said many good advices, for example how an infected plant could damage the other, and also how the excess of water coud be harmful ( this is a good example of how not always the more is the best D: ).
In general you did a really good job! I only noticed something
mispronounced, something like "pout, paud" correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you were trying to say "pot" ( /pɒt/)...
but in general your recording was pretty clear, thanks for sharing and congratz!
Hey Daniela!
DeleteI liked your recording because it's a topic I've been meaning to get into lately. I have some tomatoe's seed I brought from Germany and also bought those Bonsai seeds they were selling in the University but haven't really started planting them because of time but also because I don't know how or where to start, that's why your recording came just appropriated to me :)
btw nice entonation you used, it makes it sound kind of professional haha
See you next time!
Hello Lesli,
Deletethis is nice! Planting is a very healthful practice. My mom used to do it all the time. I don't have space where I live but I will surely spend some time taking care of plants, at least with plants you don't have to walk them out to poop!! As Fabian says pot is mispronounced, germinate, vegetable, and disease too.
Hey!
ReplyDeletehere I share with you my recording, it is a recipe to perpare "Pumpkin Jam"
http://vocaroo.com/i/s06prx2U9CsG
thanks!
Hey Daniel, I found this recipe a bit weird because I only use pumpkin for soups so I am not sure about the taste but I guess I could give it a chance. And btw how did you learn this recipe?
DeleteThanks
Hi Andrés,
Deletegood recipe (check the pronunciation of this word by the way). I have to say that I could never be fond of stuff prepared with pumpkin. As far as Manuela´s comment, well, in Colombia we have the idea that works only for soup, but in the Fall in countries like the US, they make all kinds of food with pumpkin.
hi everyone!
ReplyDeletethis is my recording about how to make a pizza , I hope you like and enjoy it..
http://vocaroo.com/i/s1xwQoXmXue6
Hello Brenda, for me you gave a good explanation or good instructions to make a pizza, this seems to be easy, but I don’t know, for me is difficult, someday I hope to make a delicious pizza though I don’t believe it. Thanks for your instructions.
Deleteyeahhh it's easy.. right now I finish to do 15 big's pizze.. I love the italian food .. and I learn to prepare this tipycal food.. I sold a lot today and I'm a little tired... I prepared the dought .. and this is a little difficult but not impossible... with the good instructions and measures you will prepare the best pizzas of your life .. ahahhah :P
DeleteHello Brenda,
Deletenice recipe. It is good to hear that you are an expert preparing and it seems you sell it too. Look at the pronunciation of words such as water, minutes, flour, crust.

ReplyDeleteI will start by asking you to excuse my voice, which is affected by a cold.
Here is my recording about the basic or first knowledge of the piano. I love it and if you want to know more about it listen the reocrding.
I hope you like this and that you will understand me !! http://vocaroo.com/i/s04vc84RZnntI hope

Deletethank you for your understanding !!!
DeleteHello Nathalia
DeleteI didn`t know about information the first knowledge about the piano, I will learn Piano one day ahaha with your phrase perseverance and discipline this words are motivation to do anything. Also, I listen do, re, mi, fa, so, la. Today, I learn this is an American coding.
Good job!
Hi Meliza
DeleteFirst, Thank you for your comment!! I hope you like it and this recording which motived your interes for the piano. With regard to the old phrase about the discipline I believe that it possible to apply in whatever we do. Then, we will be excelent in that.
Hello Natalia,
DeleteJust as most things in life, piano is a good example of things that require lots of practice, patience and most of all discipline. Check the pronunciation: phrase, major, minor, sequence,
Hi, this is my recording give you some steps to overpass the depression.
ReplyDeletehttp://vocaroo.com/i/s0toNGsYMi0b
Sorry, flu season for me. Turn the volumen down please,I shouted in the whole video haha :(
Hello Andrea
DeleteI liked it your recording because I agree with you when you say the first thing to get over the depression is take the decision to do it as it is true, but also the person which has depression needs the understanding the close friends and the family because to have depression it´s not easy and it necessary to have comprehension. I think your mentioned the most important thing to get over this situation .... GOD JOB
Hi Daniela, thanks for hear my recording, Sorry for my voice.
DeleteYes, as you said is important the support that can offer the family and friends because you aren't alone!!!! They can take care of you, give you energy and beautiful words that causes that you feel more positive and full of life.
Hello Andrea!
DeleteI like your information about overpass the depression. Sometimes, I think in the depression, I feel afraid or alone and I need to talk with someone for this reason, I like when you say don`t think about you are alone also when you say focus in other things. Besides, I suggest helping someone in depression to try to practice any sport or learn something.
Yes. I agree with you because when you are busy you stop your thoughs of sadness or suicide. Believe me. And it's important that you think that you aren't alone, if you believes in God or in other things, think that they always take care of you.
DeleteHi Andrea
DeleteFor me it was interesting to hear your steps to overpass depression. Although, we´re young people we can suffered of deppresion. In fact, I searched that the deppresion has increased in recent years in the adolescents. I agree with you when you says that it is necessary share your problems and feelings with someone you trust. Also, to recognize your negative thoughts in order to change.
Hello Andréa,
Deletethis is very helpful. Our education system does not educate people on expressing feelings, as you say one first thing a person suffering from depression should do is to be able to express what s-she feels. Correct: instead, thoughts, thinking, every.
Hey this is my recording http://vocaroo.com/i/s16WEVdWBhVL
ReplyDeleteHi, Manuela :)
DeleteThe first time I listened to your recording, I thought you said: "Because I have money" instead of "Because I have one" ha-ha, then I realized that I was wrong because it didn't have any sense.
I totally agree with you, because I also have a dog and I know the responsibilities that having one implies. But I think it's important to mention that they became part of the family, not like an animal as a baby.
I didn't know they become aggressive, however it's interesting the thing you say about "Social abilities"
And finally, I couldn't agree more with you in the last part when you talked about adopting dogs.
Nice job! :D
Hey Manu, since you reacted on my post I think this is the best moment to have a revenge >:d
DeleteAgain, hey Mamu xd, ahm, I think you chose your ''what is required to'' wisely, (and I think it could be a great chance to talk about, I mean, I should have choose this one but it did not cross my mind then) So, I must say that I agree with everything you said there. Dogs become a family member at the moment we decide to look after them, so, even if that's so, it's important to say that they become into something really outstanding in our lives. I can't tell that they will always become aggressive (idk if it's becouse of their senses or because of the nature, but I think it mostly depends on how the society tempt to raise them (yeah, like a baby) Btw, say hello to Titan :d see you Mamu, Good job here.
Hi Manuela,
DeleteIt is good to provide advice to those who want to commit to pets, particularly to dogs. I agree animals make people´s lives better, but personally, I prioritize taking care of people first and then animals. At least at this time in my life this is what I have ended up thinking. I had a pet when I was a kid (a dog) and actually I grew surrounded by domestic animals like horses, rabbits and so on.
About the recording, please record with more volume next time.

ReplyDeleteif I got a shirt that says "2+2=5", could I still dream of being an astronaut? the heigth of the candidates is determined with or without heels? far vision accurate? it seems to me you're just doing some choosy propaganda :( (just kidding man, don't get me wrong...swimming in outer space would be cool though)have a nice day!
DeleteHello Daniel
DeleteI like your topic is very interesting how to be an Astronaut when I was child I dreamt that. But, academic preparation is very difficult more not impossible, I like when you say “you should be able to speak English” just this step I can do it because I´m not good to swim.
Hello Daniel,
DeleteIt seems I won´t make it to be an astronaut with NASA in this life!! It seems as though you will need to begin preparing for this from an early age. Check pronunciation: Russian

Hi, Angie c: The title of your post caught my eye, because I have to say that I'm one of those people who have a fear of talking in front of a public. I agree with you when you talked about the organization, because this is important to many things, not only for talking in public; although on this occasion, as you said, this will help to say the things you have in mind in order.
DeleteI'm not sure about the thing about talking in front of the mirror, because you are talking to yourself and this won't help to leave the fear of talking to another person, but if you practice with someone else it would be different. Because sometimes we are not conscious about the mistakes we are doing, so another person probably notice those details.
However, I couldn't agree more with you when you talked about that seeing in front of the mirror can help with the body expressions; because body language can be misinterpreted.
Well done! :D
yoooo sweetie!, nice topic about handling a public speech! It's true that this is a quite common fear which we all must fight.
DeleteIt's also true that is a mistake filling the presentation with too much information, so I think that putting key words is a good thing.
About the mirror, a video could also work for the purpose.
And breathing! of course! breathing is the key for everything.
The only part that would not work for me is the exercise thing, I would be supersweat in front of everybody, not good at all xD
Finally I'd like to add, that a good thing to do for this fear is also, not avoiding public presentations: constant exposure makes you stronger
In general, usefull tips on a really good topic, You did a really good job, congratz ;)
Angie,
DeleteI agree with Lesli and Fabian´s contributions. But as you say this is all about practice, and as Fabian says the more you get experience in front of an audience, the easier it will become. Breathing is important but it has to do with how prepared you are. If you are unprepared, surely you will get nervous and nervousness shows through the acceleration of your breathing.
