Project task 5 and final presentation

Project task 5: Creating a story. The university experience as a travel story.

Aim: This assignment intends to provide a space for you to reflect about your experience at university and 

make meanings through your literary creativity. The final presentation will make part of your final speaking 

quiz as well.

Instructions:

1. You will create an account at http://storybird.com/. Explore the site and look at examples of other stories. The purpose is that you create a multimodal text. See sample 

2. The topic of the class has been journeys. Metaphorically, I would like you to think of your time in the University as a journey, as a personal journey. I would like you to create a story in which you or any other fictional character represents, your journey. what it has meant. Remember your story needs to have characters, antagonists, challenges, a possible a hero and a climax and resolution. It could be a partial resolution because your journey is still ongoing. Use your creativity. Your story could be very literal or it could very symbolic and metaphorical. In any case, we will ask you question about what the things that you write in relation to your 

real life. 

Your story must include at least 1000 words. Use images to help express your ideas. 

3. Post the link to the story below. 

4. You will present your story as a presentation in which you will show it to us and discuss why you created in the way you did and what it represents. This presentation will be considered your final speaking quiz. 

5. The presentations will last 10 minutes and will start on May 26.

Grading:

Your final story will be graded as an individual grade for the quality of the design of the text in terms of combining different elements of the page to make meaning, including space management, colors, images, 
writing, including that you consider the instructions given above, expression, grammar, vocabulary. 

The quality of your oral presentation will be included as your speaking quiz and will consider: audience awareness, ability to communicate & fluency, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary.
