Hi everyone,
this has been a great class with lots of learning for me and I hope for you. For this I am thankful!
Grades have always been available, so there won't be any surprises. Before releasing the final grades, I am going to ask you a kind of "obliged" favor, I would like you to answer a survey that will help me improve or modify my teaching. It will also help my research.

Wednesday, May 31 (UPDATE TUESDAY)

Hi everybody,
no extra homework. You should be working on your final project. Here´s the answer sheet to the grammar exercises about infinitives and gerunds.
Also, your comic strips have also been graded. THE GENERAL FEEDBACK IS:

• Some comic strips were very good. Some of you wrote very interesting responses looking at cultural aspects expressed in the stories. 
• Many people did not submit the assignment. 
• Some of you did not follow the instructions. I never asked to only represent one scene. I said: you tell the story, you could skip one or two scenes that are not essential to the story, but keep the essence of the general narrative. The only change will be you adding yourself as a character in the story.  
• You guys need to proofread more your writing even if it is conversational. I found many mistakes that I have already corrected in previous assignment such as lack of capitalizations of names of people, places and so on.  

Grades are up to date: Final quizzes not included. 

NEW: Guys, we will send reply letters by Friday. Write a response letter to the student you received the letter from.

Hi guys,
Congratulations to all of you who participated at the Language Fair. You did pretty well!
On Friday, as we agreed we will have the listening quiz and the writing part of the finals. This won't take long. After that we will work on the grammar topic we started this week. You need to complete your observation tasks too.
3. Also complete the material about infinitives and gerunds. Do unit 55. Read all explanations and exercises.

Hi everyone,
So we will not meet for class because we all have to participate in the Language Fest. I will provide a glance to the program once I receive it. Please people who are going to sing, I am still waiting for the title of the songs you will sing. 
About the agreements we reached yesterday:
1. We agreed to put off the presentation of the final project until next week Wed. However this will delay the  final exams' period because we will have to use one of the days for finals to get the presentations done.
2. So this Friday instead we will began with two a of the final quizzes. We will have the listening part and the writing part. Take into account that the writing part will include writing either a recommendation or opinion letter. Check the material we studied in class.
3. You need to complete the material about infinitives and gerunds. Do unit 55. Read all explanations and exercises.
Also remember that you should continue doing the observation tasks.
I will see you on Friday.
